Shadow under the Mountain | Devlog #9

Hello again, here on my devlog.

So, as an overview, I think I worked enough on game mechanics, and now I have, how to say... enough dough to make a bread.

So I started working on the forest layout. You will see it while I'm speaking about other things.

So, about other things I added. I was thinking that just one attack option is kind of... boring. So I made a second one. Now you can either swing or stab.

And stab has its differences. While swing is wide but short in distance, stab is very thin but has a longer range. What, considering that enemies stop their attacks if hit, makes stopping enemies during their attacks a bit easier.

I also improved animations, for player's legs especially. I made it so that legs always are heading in the direction character moves.

Maybe now it doesn't look so well, but I'll improve it more, but later.

And also for making a lot of level design I had to make some automatisation tools, which is a great achievement for me, as I've never worked with Unity's great Editor scripting [allows expanding Editor]. And it's very helpful.

But, it's all for now, good bye, until next update.
